Shiso Leaves Green


Green Shiso leaves, green perilla leaves, Japanese mint are few of the names used for this aromatic leaf. The aroma is an combination of citrus, anise, mint, basil and nuts. It’s complex but works very well with all kind of fish and is off course very decorative. Next to the green variety we also have the bi-color variety which is purple on one side and green on the other. Both have similar taste characteristics although the green one is a little bit more citrus and the bi-color one a bit more nutty.
